Mis-thoughts

Alright, so the misreadings thread has had a number of interesting posts, but what thoughts? Have you ever had a thought that confused you? I know I have. As the beginner of the thread i'll start off with my 2 most recent:
Walking into my English literature course I was horribly confused when the though "i'm a gorilla" popped into my head. I had an uncomfortable moment of utter despair before the follow up thought, "oh, wait, no i'm not" popped into my head.

And, this evening, for some reason I though that I had left my eyeball unlocked.

I really don't understand what my braind does sometimes.

Love, or more likely getting a big old lust-on for someone. It defies logic, can make you utterly depressed and won't unravel when examined. It can be built on very little, even nothing and just persist!

but anyway...

I remember once I'd just got back from some big party and passed out of the floor of my parents house. My mum tried to wake me and asked me a question. I started to answer, 1. before I knew what she had said and 2. before I really knew what my reply to that question was. When she asked 'what are you talking about?' I had the dread feeling of not knowing either what she had said or what my reply to it was. I think I started talking about summer sheds and where to position them for best light...

Another time I was doing a presentation at uni coming down off acid. I figured I was fine as long as I kept talking. Then I came abruptly to a gap in my talking and promptly forgot everything I had said to that point. I had to ask my audience what I was talking about. Embarrassing...

agreed with the love life. I change my mind about 30 times a day, from one absolute extreme to yet another. and then I can't remember why I got so excited about the last thought....

one time I woke up from a dream, with the most BRILLIANT epiphany ever - "I'm a little like barbie, and a little like g.i. joe". I thought, I have to remember that when I wake up. and I did. and I still have NO idea why such a horrifying thought would occur to me in the first place, let alone seem so amazing, even to a sleeping brain.

I'm not sure I agree. I've just gotten into this brilliant relationship, and my thoughts are actually making more sense then usual. Which is good, because 'liquid-hominiods-downloading-creativity-crystals' and the like makes very little sense (but I'll find a way to use it nonetheless.)
