brilliant stuff... lush artwork, kudos to all concerned.... i hate to bring this up but, should we be thinking about working our way thru the minor arcana as well???

I KNOW I'm going to regret mentioning this...but I'm vaguely considering taking the artwork, the interpretations, and cludging them all together into some kinda java program to do tarot readings... but, of course, that relies of a) having all of the above, b) me being arsed to do it (busy at the mo, but the holy-daze are coming up, so...maybe), and c) me completing the java assignment I have for next week and not being thoroughly sick to death of the goddamn language...

I would love to get started on the minor arcana, but I have a couple of problems:

1. I don't want to distract people from compleating the major arcana cards. I feel they are far from finished and I encourage everyone to review them and post additional information.The first cards started off strong, then after september 11 things started to go entropic.

2. I don't know how the moderators would feel about having 78 different threads dedicated to Tarot. Perhaps if there was enough support, we could petition Tom to open a Tarot forum,much like Magic,Headshop,etc...where we could post without bothering anyone else.

Any ideas??

A friend of mine in London asked me to make a temperence card, so I'll do that one next. He asked for a full deck as well, so if I get the time I'll do a couple more cards...

I agree wholeheartedly with finishing the Major Arcana first. In my wanderings into the world of Tarot, I have so far mostly used a 10 card spread that utilizes only the Major Arcana. While the Minor Arcana can be very insightful, maybe to a more detailed level than the Major Arcana, the spread I use has helped me a lot.

So for those of us who are new or fairly new to the whole Tarot realm, having the Major Arcana ala Barbelith would be a great place to start.

So keep up the great work. Having it condensed into a downloadable format would be brilliant, as some of us in the more primitive areas of the globe, pay exorbitant prices for Internet time.
