I know it's being reported in the London Evening Standard but it can't help but get excited!

Yay, she might not be dead but she can't make any more stupid speaches! Woo Hoo!

Hmmmm! I feel strangely bad about being so happy. Ahhhh, quandry!

The headline on that says 'Strokes silence Lady Thatcher.'

What a great image that's making in my head...

I wouldn't feel bad about this - I think theres a lot of people who feel the same way. In fact, I'm far more hardcore.

I'm just sorry she isn't dead.

I hate the woman.

I would hope she got cancer, too, except I couldn't wish that on the cancer.

Not long to go now, hopefully...

I always preferred referring to her as "Baroness" Thatcher- had more of a pantomime villain feel to it that way.

Doctor- "Well, Baroness, we've had the tests back, and it appears you're full of shit. My advice to you is to shut the fuck up."

Marvellous.

Unfortunate, that. Still, there's that whole "gift horse/mouth/not looking" thing. And being thankful for even the tiniest of mercies. (Although I kind of liked the idea of her popping up every now and then, saying increasingly mad shit, and even the Tories going "what the FUCK?" but having to be nice cos she was like their Goddess or something.)

How much do you think they paid the doctor?

At first I thought they passed a law against her speaking in public...

Well, dunno about anyone else, but I slipped him a tenner...
Reckon we could silence Blair if we had a big enough whip round?

And there was me eagerly awaiting her appearance at the Brighton festival this year. NOT!

Still, it would have been karmic justice to have her keel over in the middle of a diatribe while down here. Sorta 'We may have missed you the first time, but we got you in the end!'
