I borrowed a book, Jack-knife Cookery, when I was in my elementals. That and My Side of the Mountain were gonna come with me when I ran off into the woods.
Jack-knife Cookery told all these wonderful hobo recipes that used nothing but a pocket-knife for preparation, all cooked by campfire. I grew up on a farm, not camping. The main thing Dad used his pocket-knife for was cutting bale twine.
And I dislike absolute hypotheticals. But, carry on. |
