I would tend to opine that they're taking serious liberties there Phox -especially if you work in an office, I can understand a shop wanting to present a united front but if you're going to have to go on the underground dressed as a schoolgirl and then sit in an office all day I can't see the value in that so much.
I'd tend to say that low-key costumes are mostly about the hats, so I'd look around some charity shops for one of those you can build a costume around. Buy a bowler, wear a suit and tell them you're an accountant. Carry an umbrella, if you want to give off the image of obsessive attention to detail. |
