Spin Laden = Best band ever?

Does anyone else like Spin Laden? I've just heard "Bad Bugs", from the "My Malady" compilation album, and it's *great* - like twirling the dial on a short wave radio, but with beats.

Any recommendations?

I like the Bran Flakes' tune about Gonnorhea on that album, though it isn't as good as some of the stuff on Coldwater Suplex records.

Personally, I'm getting into this new hip-hop band who are all upper class toffs from Oxbridge myself, I think that they are possibly the best band ever. Can't remember their name though.

I'm getting totally sick of all this best band ever stuff. Surely it is 'the best band who I, myself have heard, and by best I mean my subjective opinion on the matter, obviously...' and well, what's the point in that?

They freakin suck! An obvious ripoff of We Caused 9/11 With Our Magickal Sigils. (the Black Flag of the millenium)

In fact, I was at a We Caused 9/11 With Our Magickal Sigils show, and Spin Laden had the nerve to show up and ask to get in for free. They acted like they knew We Caused 9/11 With Our Magickal Sigils, but it was obvious that they were posers who didn't even know Magick! My friend Benny the Bouncer kicked the drummers ass in the parking lot, it was the funniest shit ever!

Spin Laden is to We Caused 9/11 With Our Magickal Sigils what Britney Spears is to Siouxsie. Please do not post about this horrible band again, as it is a disgrace to the entire scene and everything it stands for.

Nah, 'fraid not Fly old boy - I own a copy too, secondhand for a quid, and I actually quite like a couple of the tracks (I think one is track 5, starts nice and melodic and just ends in a barrage of noise)

Although you may be the only person with the Oxbridge rap album... what were those guys called again?
