Highly personal question, I know. But what do you weigh? And does it bother you at all?

I only ask because I'm nudging 12 stone and I'm absolutely appalled.

I'm around 15 stone (not sure what the is in new money) I was about 17 in March though.

Does it bother me, a little I guess but not as much as it used to.

Can we do a how big is your penis one after this?

Somewhere around 65 kilos, I think. Don't know what that is in stone. I was 55 kilos for about ten years, then I quit smoking and put on 10kg (also stopped looking big, hard, clever & sexy, but them's the breaks).

I haven't weighed myself in years but the good People of Tonga have asked me to be their King. I would estimate 14 stones but I really have no idea. Like Deva, I have twice in recent years given up smoking and gained weight. Unlike Deva, I then started smoking again but kept the weight.

I would tell you how big my penis is, but then I'd have to kill you, Bear.

Seven and a half stone or 47kg.

That's the heaviest I've been all my life, but then I'm only 5ft 1.
I used to be six stone but I looked like a skeleton!
I'm much happier at this weight. I would like to be more toned but that involves excercise!

10 stone. A good weight for my height, methinks.

Decided I wanted to get fat once. Drank chocolate milk, ate chocolate bars, feasted on pasta, tuna and mayo, hated every second of it. Managed to put on 2 1/2 stone - heaviest I've ever been - then quickly went on a diet, took up jogging and swore never again.

Fat really doesn't suit me.

I weigh about 9 stone, which makes me feel sort of average really (for my height - about 5ft 6).

I weigh between 12 and 13 stone depending on what I'm wearing. Not bad for 6 feet 3 1/2 inches, but very little muscle and with me and my wife, Beer's baby on the way I'm expecting my weight to creep up.

I'm about 12 stone. It's OK.

Apparently that's been my steady weight for over 6 years though. And as I was considerably shorter 6 years ago, that's rather alarming. I'm sure I don't remember being a huge fat bastard..

I'm also at that thirteen stone area. I stopped worrying about it when I realised it was flab on my body that made me look fat, not actual fat. So as I've had a little success in getting rid of that I'm not too concerned with my weight.

(14 pounds = 1 stone)

and I'm about 10 stone, as I hover between 135 and 140lbs.

Thirteen Stone - and considering that two years ago I posted a depressed rant on this very board about being seventeen and a half stone - I see this as some mean acheivement.

Of course I am now craven for compliments about my weight-loss at every precious ego-affirming opportunity.

Unfortunately, I now realise that it is much more fun not to be fat on a purely personal level - clothes! fit! me! - attention! from! both! sexes! - and the level of general social acceptance you gain back is quite galling - and quite f**king appalling really. It's a superficial world.

11.333 repeating stone. Not bad for 4' 3".

165 lbs.

Goodz to those who have chosen to relinquish their excess.

And have any ladies answered? Other than Our's?

I, of course, imply much more than genetically female in the term 'lady'. To those females who don't mind devulging for their own reasons.

Just a thought about whatever maxim that keeps feminine weight under wraps. For whatever social/beauty theory that cropped up, moons ago.

Just under 7.5st, about 46kg or so.
But like spid, and a wee 5'2" munchkin.

Being just under 7.5 means I can say I wont donate blood because you have to hit the half-stone before they'll take a half pint. In reality, Im scared shitless of it. They can take anything once Im dead.

What bothers me isnt really the amount of fat, but my waist- no matter how much wieght I lose (and in greece, I reakon I was down to about 6st13 or so thru illness) it doesnt go in, sideways. So Im a size 12 waist, size 8 everything else. And any stomach in a leotard looks like a mid-pregnancy. But I certainly wouldnt class myself fat, or give up pot noodles for weight-loss.

Frater Fae> I am also female, have divulged my weight, and didn't even use the wearing high heels to get a supposedly better height/weight ratio trick. I avoid wearing leotards though.

Me am fat

Yeah, me too Warewulf but I can say, hand on heart, that I've been thin too (down to just over 9 stone at one point in my twenties) and fucking hated it. I am perhaps just a tiny bit too fat these days but I have no intention of doing much about it.

Just trying not to get any fatter, which is hard with my body rewriting the rules on me with each passing decade. I found, when I was a bubble-butted gym bunny for a few prolonged stretches in my life, that my weight stayed the same. Everything just firmed up and moved about a bit. You've obviously been working out a lot harder than me.

I used to spend all my time on the rowing machine (with a cocktail in hand) because everything else was too hard.

In the 10 stone range, generally a little more than a little less...

Am I happy with it? Yes, 95% of the time - I get great cleavage in a corset, and have a build that carries the muscle and padding to great advantage... Would I mourn if 5 or so pounds magically disappeared? Not at all, although I would draw the line at around 10 pounds...

Anybody know the origin of "stone" as a measure of weight?
It's ... so ... quaint...

It's a good weight for me, and no matter how much I try and get big muscly arms I can't seem to shift it upwards, so guess I'm stuck widdit. At the slightest sign of gaining jiggly weight I tend to fast/neurotically eat only raw veg so I doubt it'll go up much...

Ooh, and I don't know where "stone" comes from, but in the place in the scottish highlands where me ma 'n da always go for their jolly hols, one can buy a stone of "crevettes" (big prawns) for a tenner. A stone is a fuckload of prawns.

I try hard not to know what I weigh - it having been far too important to me in the past. Now ignorance and a weekly sacrament of cake are my safeguards.

Not sure, but around 9stone, i think.

Not remotely bothered most of the time, occasional bouts of self-consciousness about the belly area...Was 7 1/2-8 stone for *years* and mourned hugely when it started creeping up(mid 20s).

Much less so since trapezing, feel like the extra weight suits me now i'm a little muscular. And am much more interested in being strong than thin!

Would be hopeless at dieting/weight loss bit but if a few pounds 'fell off' wouldn't be complaining.

I weigh 10 stone which is marvellous. I was very thin during my adolescence, about 2 stone underweight, and it looked nice but my knees used to pop out of joint and I was always twisting my ankles. I would buy massive jumpers and hide from the world because skinniness me feel self-conscious. Now I have enough flab to pinch and more clothes fit me and I can wear anything and feel comfortable. Getting jeans used to be a nightmare because being a 5'7" size 8 meant everything was too short. So now I eat 3 chocolate bars a day and more than a sandwich for lunch and often croissants for breakfast to ensure that I stay proper. In other words I'm a self-confessed pig who can't get above 10 stone in weight.

Hooray for being average, having a fast metabolism and may I always stay this size!!
