My coat has one of those inside mobile phone pockets - but it does mean you have to unzip and let the cold in when you want to answer your phone. A major design flaw, if you ask me.
What's the weather like oop there? Can you wear the parka yet? It's bright and cold here.
Yes, but does it have a pocket for a fold-up bike?
Cold and bright up here as well. Unfortunately, not quite cold enough for the parka... the Burberry duffel for work and still on the furry Flash Gordon number. Can't wait to get in it, though... I sat around the house all night with the snorkel hood up yesterday.
I always thought it was because if you zip up the parka hood it leaves an oval gap which is roughly the shape and dimensions of a face mask you'd wear if you went snorkelling. But I could be wrong.
What shall the Parka Gang do? Fight crime or buy buns?
I always thought it was 'cos it looked like a snorkel - somethin poking up out of the water. I think the SPG should just wait til it's cold and just walk around in a gang with them fully zippy up looking like a bizarre species of duck.
I have a shameful story. My warm winter coat is a Barbour clone. My mum bought it for me from a cheap shop for Christams, and while it makes me look like a bit of an upper class twat, it's Soooooo comfy and cosy and dry.
I think I can get away with it if I avoid wellies.
Bought a grey, calf length, beautifully cut coat from Zara on Saturday. It has something akin to a slash neck, kind of horizontal oval, very funkadoodle!
