A 68-year-old "spiderman" burglar has been arrested in Hong Kong after being seen scaling the outside of a 20 storey building, police said today.
The pensioner was spotted 10 floors up, using bamboo scaffolding on the outside of the office block, a police spokesman said.
He even jumped from one high-rise to a neighbouring six storey block before officers managed to catch him after he broke into four offices yesterday, the spokesman said.
Detectives said the man, who was unhurt from his exploits, was expected to be charged with burglary. He was found in possession of around £1,000 believed to have been looted from the offices. |
