Did anyone actually perform the future-information broadcast ritual? I'd be v. interested to hear about the results.

i think a guy called Bruce Goldberg does this sort of stuff

heard an interview with him on Rense and whilst a shameless self promoter and his claims being very over the top....his enthusiasm was infectious and i will buy a book from the prolific little bastard one day, out of curiosity, if nothing else

From what I can see of his site, Goldberg is a bit different. Part of what he does seems to be hypnotherapy to induce awareness of past or future lives, reincarnation.
I would say the Time Tree model states that ALL lives are the same structure (we are all one blah, blah, blah), so all individuals share the same pasts and presents really.

I would take it that his patients identify with certain personalities on the tree that help them overcome their own neuroses or justify certain things about themselves (A nymphomaniac who used to be a ceremonial dancer, Soul mates who shared a previous life in the caribbean). It looks like Goldberg justifies this through Karma and Reincarnation rather than any specific leanings to the tree model. I suppose that Karma and Reincarnation could be seen as the relocation of certain "conciousness patterns" from one branch to another. Anyone have any comments on this?

Sekhmet, I don't know about anybody else but I'm trying these out myself now. I'm getting interesting results through dreams already, but it'll be a while before I can really speak for the results.

if you're tracing your own path back through the tree you have to acknowledge that the matter which forms us came from stars, that there is no dividing line between ourselves and our environment.

Bumping this, because it's essentially the model that I'm working from these days. Without it, nothing makes any tiny bit of sense. With it, everything does: divination, the existance of disembodied intelligences, even the whole food/booze offering thing.

It's the conclusion I've come to myself. I just think it gives a simple, elegant and very plausible explanation to a lot of stuff that would otherwise be a bit mad, but which does seem to be real.

I was thinking recently about counting, about identifying one object as seperate from another, and that we impose separation upon things in the world- which reminded me of this. Quantum entanglement and Talbot's holographic universe and all kinds of scientific theories are starting to make it more acceptable in the mainstream, someday I think they'll teach it in school.

i remind myself of the connection sometimes by thinking about what i am connected to now, by touch and then forming a chain of all the things those things are touching and so on and so forth.

Another way is with light, considering how the light that reaches your eye reaches it and how it illuminates everything else you see.

The only problem i run into with the model is its sense of linear character in relation to time and its a practical issue rather than a philosophical one although that does have some bearing. seeing time as having a past and future and growing from a root source, could be seen to lock certain events, how i work is to have an eternal moment a now. There is no past or conception of the past that is not conditional to present circumstance, its the present circumstance that define that past and future. Its the eternal moment that changes past and future. Conscious time travel has to remain an option as does manipulation of the time stream perceptual realities. I guess the place i differ would be the tree has no past no future, its all happening now.

To give it a sense of conception and organisation i guess we place measurements upon it and that does make our complex society and selves easier to conceptualise and communicate about, but some of my experience tells me that this isnt taking place in time.

Because we bind ourselves to the notion that we grow up (well not much in my case) and we create a very linear self history and are taught to think about time as a linear process we proceed to model it that way.

Ill agree with movement to a certain extent, but then as suggested if concieve of the whole universe from the outside, without your interaction or conception it becomes a consistant stillness, no time, no growth, it just is isness. Bloody hard to expalin i hope somebody vaguely gets what i am on about.
