Recently reread all of Transmetropolitan and noticed the following easter eggs.

1) Durden Demolitions (or something like that) which is a reference to Fight Club and Tyler Turden who had a habit of blowing up buildings.

2) When the sniper is shooting up the print district Ed and Tubbs Tattsyrup from "The League of Gentlemen" are walking down the street and Ed gets a bullet in the face.http://www.lofg.com/image_browser.php?image_group_id=13&image_file=cap005.JPG <<- A pic of Ed and Tubbs

Any others?

If memory serves Tyler actually appears in that same issue. Around the time (or on the pages) as the homeless are forcably evicted by the Police.

The only other thing I can think of at the moment is the creative crew (Warren, et al) appearing in the election party at the end of "The New Scum"

Really, aren't there at least two or three references in every issue of Transmetropolitan? I'm surprised that no Ellis cult members have made a webpage devoted to annotating the culture references.
That and story inconsistencies.

I recall graffiti scratched on the sidewalk about freeing someone (Steve Chung? Forget the name). And if I recall in the last issue there was a newspaper with an article on this person finally being freed.

And Tyler Durder does appear that issue. Myself, I liked some of the Pixies references.

Steve Chung is real - he kept writing in all together too often to be someone who gets out much, which lead ellis to speculate that he might be being held hostage somewhere, forced to write letters or something hence the free Steve Chung. Warren and Darrick also appear quite often in the background...

Lola from "Run Lola Run" appeared in one issue.

She was running.
