lots of spanky looking x-art, the engineer, aging sentinels, a family of nightcrawlers and maggie's new gang of Xist terrorists.

Yeah, and Morrison also confirms that Cameron Stewart is the artist on Seaguy! Sure, everyone had figured it out already, but it's nice to see it announced a bit more officialy.

My favourite bit form the interview?

The bit where he talks about continuity errors in comics:

"My advice is just to white out the offending dialogue in your comics with correcting fluid and then, using a fine-nibbed lettering pen, write in your own, more pleasing and continuity-appropriate version of the character's words. It will make your comic collection more individual, more continuity-conscious and much more creative and it will also allow you to edit and collaborate with your favorite writers."

That's fairly priceless!

I'm sorry but just HOW COOL do Beak and Angel look in their New X-men costumes?
And why are they the only ones in the yellow X jackets? Don't you think Mag's wouldn't approve?

Visual clues guys!!

But why is the Authority's Engineer fighting with generic X-Man #293? I mean, cool, but?

This interview is great - and the new pages from NXM 147 and 151 are a treat!

How sexy does Angel look in that X-Men jacket? It's funny, she was first drawn as sort of looking trashy and dumpy, and Quitely made her sort of average, but Jimenez made her very attractive.

"They all die fighting for freedom" [presumably in the 151-154 'alternate?' future story - holy crap!!!

And so psyched to offically see SEAGUY as Cameron's bag!!!

Also very psyched for Grant's big DCU project. I met a guy who works in sales at DC last night at Jim Hanley's comics in NYC and the store owners passed on my request to get DC ONE MILLION and KILL YOUR BOYFRIEND back into print. (I didn't want to push my luck by asking for the legally-challenged FLEX MENTALLO.)

And Beak and Angel will rebel against Mags. Why is Beak even there in the first place? He seems to have a very noble, not-evil heart. Although I can see where he might be young, immature, and easily swayed, esp. following where Angel leads him (like the cover-up in "Murder at the Mansion"). Ahh, that whipped beak laddie.

nerdgasm! glad to know about this and the site updates.

NXM is a subject I didn't cover much on my August interview with Grant for CBR, otherwise it would be too long, so kudos to Arune.

didn't know Beak and Angel, sexiest couple in Marvel, had kids. Jimenez's Magneto looks great in movie outfit. for those interested: Engineer = good Sentinel from thew future.

and cheers, Cameron! can't wait.

Sadly, I have a feeling that Angel won't be rebelling at all. I'm rereading everything New X thus far and there's a moment when her neo-father is beating the shit out of her where she says something to the effect of "I'm going to get you back one day." I think that sentiment is something that's going to stick with her. Erik is showing her a way to get back at ALL the human abusers in the world in one fell swoop. Beak, on the other hand, only got called names by girls in a bar, and for a kid his age, any attention from girls is good. He did, after all, watch Angel get paid to kiss him on that space ship, and still felt that it was the greatest day of his life.

I still stick by my sentiment: Angel v. Beak; coming soon in the hearbreaking Finale of Planet X.

I think you're right -- Beak will see the light but Angel won't, insert tragic doomed romance here.

Barnell Bohusk = Scott Summers and Angel = Phoenix and Xorneto = Xavier and Esme = White Queen

now that Wizard mag scanned page in the other thread leave another doubt: is that a pumped-up Barnell in the future or one of his offspring?

the caption says Beak for that Wizard page, but it's possible they are wrong. I really think it's Beak, though. No butterfly wings or anything...and it's just too cool for scrawny misfit Beak to grow up into this badass eagle figure...

Anyone else get the impression that the "familiar location" Morrison mentions might be the blue area of the moon from the Dark Phoenix saga?
