STOATIE LIEKS CHOCOLATE MILK

Discovered by toksik, who's unfortunately hit his posting limit... a rather tasty Masonic watch.

But which wrist would you wear it on?

Anyone got a couple of grand to spare? It's my birthday soon...

So i see this thread and i think: Isn't that More of a Switchboard topic?

But hey, let's chat about the time we spend watching Masons.

Standing outside their buildings. Watching them shake One & Others' hands.

And then i click on it and what do i see?

Someone trying to sell a watch on ebay.

For enough money to eat on for months.

[disappointed sigh strolls away]

Isn't it against the rules of the Masonic Order to wear in public any mark of membership?

Does that include on your car? I see cars all the time with these sort of Masonic reliefs stuck to them.

That watch rocks, if I had a couple of thousand dollars spare I'd... wait, I'd give it to Stoatie.

Absolutely not. They've always worn special watches or cufflinks or tie-pins or bustiers or whatever. It's just a businessman's association. You read too many comic books and I'm sending a gang of toughs over to your house to rip them all up.

It's for your own good.

my dad's a mason, and he has a masonic belt. i got a masonic belt buckle that is the COOLEST!!! it's blue w/silver li'l icons on it, like the 'G', and the eye, and a column, etc. my dad says it's ok for me to wear it cos he's a mason, even tho' i'm not, obv. (well obv. if you happen to know that i'm female.)
oh, i knew another guy who is a mason, and he had a big gold 'G' bling bling necklance. so i think it's allowed, is what i'm saying.

that has to be the most evil looking watch I've ever seen, and I've got the argos catalogue downstairs.

And just as I was recovering from seeing the leading member of the royal family in the mason's posing for Hello magazine during the jubilee year too.

I acquired a pendant in an antique shop in Sweden years ago, which I think is masonic- triangular, eye on the top, three-linked chain in the middle, skull and crossbones on the bottom. It's a nifty little thing, pretty old if the wear on the little loop where the chain goes was any indication.
