Have heard mutterings elsewhere about big *NRI* backing for the relaunch, hopefully giving them some stability.
It's going to be tough tho. Read some of the Hindustan Times coverage of the Indian gov's 'response'.
Tehelka were 'investigated'/harassed by the police, intelligence services, inland revenue. Their backers were jailed without charge. They've got no time to produce work, even if they could afford to,as they're tied up with endless legal paperwork... |
