Thor the God of Thunder went riding out one day.
‘I’m Thor!’ he cried,
His horse replied,
‘You’ve forgotten your thaddle, thilly.’

Very good, the following was as the result of a bet and is very poor indeed. If you disagree then I'll try to do worse later!

I wandered lonely as a sheep,
Upon my mountain bike,
Then I realised sheep Can't ride
And had to take a hike!

Oh, it's not mine. My Mum used to say it when I was a child and since then I've always liked poor silly rhymes. Yours is poor but I bet there could be poor-er.

My thithter... sorry, my SiSter used to love that rhyme. Only doesn't it start "The God of Thunder went to war upon his (something) filly"...?

Ooh, does it? I like that better. It never did begin like that in Olulabelle land, but I'm happy to accept the change!

Oh, the things you make me do, Barbelith. Here's the most standard version of this lymerick, with proper rythm:

The thunder god went for a ride
upon his favorite filly
"I'm Thor!" he cried
His horse replied
"You forgot your Thaddle Thilly"

Another popular varient on the first line is "rode through the skies".

Hello praying mantis, I haven't been very well, but *dances little hopeful jig* I'm all better now!

The Thor one is a classic, but I've always had a soft spot for:

The ghoul stood on the broken bridge
Its lips were all a quiver
It gave a cough
And its leg dropped off
And floated down the river.
