I think it is youthful trouser stylings, Mr Xoc. It seems to be an extension of the old trend of displaying the band of one's designer boxers/whatevers over the top of the trousers.
I think the titillation value of the photo would be vastly improved by greater evidence of sex. As it is it just looks like some people having fun. And what's the good of that? They should take up crochet. Or possibly tatting.
I thought this was going to be about a story you'd written, guest-starring yourself (in a 'post-modern leanings' way,) and a self-critique was to follow.
