On the other hand, it seems that if you don't have Netscape for the glide-over username thing then finding out what your number is is rather tricky, although most forums seem well served now so I don't think there's any need for me to offer to take on any more...

Right - I guess I had my number wrong. How do you find your member number? I just figured it out based on where I placed in the list of members. So, I think Tom may have given moderation duties to some lurker.
