I was in a similar situation a couple of weeks ago, trying to start up a new comics project, and just looking at a blank screen. One thing I'd suggest is to write your whole plot out in a quick prose form, just to make sure that you know where everything's going. The other thing is you might want to not think too much about panel layout and details at first, and just start putting down dialogue, and getting your story going. Once you start writing it, you'll probably start to figure out the world of the story better, and then you'll be able to go back to the beginning and fix it up. |
