Oddly, I was discussing the (non-existent) second series of Ultraviolet only last weekend, after going to see Pirates of the Caribbean with some B7 fen. The consensus was:
(1) The decision not to make a second season was taken because the BBC hasn't noticed that it only used to get ratings of, like, 14 million viewers in the days when there were only two channels, so it still thinks that ratings of 7 million aren't good enough; but
(2) this was probably a good thing, as according to what the writers/makers have said about what would have been in the second series, it would have been a huge disappointment. |
