I saw him singing for the troops on Saturday. No-one who sings for 'our boys' could possibly be bad.

I'm always pleased when I see 'Joy of Pain...' [aka 'Joy of Painting'] on the listings for one of the Home and Leisure type channels (of course, Bravo really does have a programme called 'Joy of Pain', but that's just not the same).

Once upon a time I wrote those things. And oh the fun to be had inserting 'typoes'. A show called Dial-a-Date, for example, was supposed to be billed as 'ITV's hit dating show'. But I don't think it ever was.

There seems to be someone naughty working at the ITV captioning department, as I've noticed a few shows being amusingly mis-titled recently in the break lead-ins. The only one that springs to mind was a recent "Start Wars".
