You have 2 minutes on stage to pitch to a panel of professional comic writers, artists and editors, your idea for a story, series or character. The audience will vote for their favourite. Your career in comics starts here.
Are you the new Alan Moore? The new Stan Lee? The new person-who-writes-The-Bash-St-Kids? If so, put your name on the list now.
Email kevf@sitsvac.org saying "I'd like to enter the New Writers Pitch Fest", and include your name, a phone number, and a brief description of what kind of writing you'd like to pitch (story? character? Tharg's Future Shock? funny strip?). If you get onto the shortlist to pitch, you'll also win a free ticket to the Comic Festival.
Judges include DC editor Dan DiDio, 2000AD and The Authority's Frazer Irving and Robbie Morrison, 2000AD's Siku, Warhammer's Stu Taylor, new publisher GFI's Surjan Singh + surprise guests. |
