really this belongs in Switchboard. except that I would like more people to read this.

on day seventeen of the solidarity fast against biopsychiatry. each day I drink lots. physically I have coped better than you would predict. though not pushing myself by going on any long walks. as of today, twenty-one days after the fast began, two of the six fasters keep at it. one of them in his early sixties BTW. we have not had the effect on the media that we had hoped. but the strikers did meet with representatives of the American Psychiatric Association. so they know our movement exists and has shown it.

I created an online petition and would appreciate it if you agree with the cause to sign it. or you can go there to check out some links about the cause and the fast.

if you go to this site you can find another petition for medical and psychological folk to sign as well.
