Did anyone else get this? It wasn't a world-shatteringly original story or setting but it gave me a rosy glow for the Vertigo of about a decade ago, where there was a strong literary presence in the genre, before it degenerated into the all surface no feeling of a lot of the imprint these days. If you can't work out the twist by the point you know that two of the main characters are identical twins then there's something wrong with you but having received minimal publicity it comes in, does the job then leaves.

Can I just go on record as saying that I loved Cliff Chiang's art so much, I'd marry it if I could?

It was a solidly constructed literary thriller, but nowhere near as interesting as Hall's work on Pistolwhip or its sequel. But it was the best surrealist art vigilante story I've ever read.

I flipped through it and was majorly turned off by the rape scene.

I also prefer the Ditko series.

Somewhere in my collection I have a couple of books with the "Creeper" stories of old in the back pages. (Probably somewhere near the ones with "Rose and Thorn" in the back)
I was interested in this new "Creeper" series until I saw the artwork.

'Nuff said.

I really really enjoyed this mini - solid story, great GREAT art by Cliff Chiang (who just gets better and better every time he works); beautiful colors. Two thumbs up! And yes, it did seem to have that old school Vertigo meld of unique ideas and cool style. It felt like a lot of thought got put into this book, and it paid off beautifully.

I only got it for Chiang's artwork. The story was passable but predictable.

Hall's next thing looks like more of the same. I want more Chiang though. Sooooo purty.
