I know this is a real longshot but: I can't stop looking for this book and I can't remember the writer's name.
Possibly American? He / she writes very, very short surreal little one-page / one-paragraph things that are very, very dream-like and surreal.
The only one's I remember were about a girl with strawberries growing out of her face [she was upset because 'men only wanted her for her strawberries'] and a guy in a zebra-skin jacket meets a girl who's only about five inches tall and is sitting in his soup / spaghetti.
Any ideas? |
