Anyone know of a good comic shop in Leeds?

I'm packing off to uni in a little less than 3 weeks and I don't want to ask around in meatspace, because, y'know, I'd look like a geek. But if anyone knows of a good place and how to get to it, I'd be ever so thankful.

No, don't know, but I never pass up an opportunity to plug Page 45 in Nottingham. Greatest comic shop on the planet. Leeds to Nottingham? Worth every penny.

There's Forbidden Planet, which is on the Headrow (one of the main shopping thoroughfares through the city) and also there's one, the name of which I can't remember, in the Corn Exchange, which is an old industrial building filled with tattoo artists and reclaimed clothing shops and stuff - v. cool.

Deva probably knows others as I am a fairly irregular visitor to Gauda Prime these days.

From what I can remember, both of those comic shops are excellent, though I think the FP one's a little cheaper and has a better selection of new issues.

I think the one in the Corn Exchange is called "Travelling Man", which kind of conjures images of Alan Moore in this boy's brain and last I recall, had a pretty good stock of back issues.

But I have to ask: Why Leeds?

Why Leeds? University I'm packing off to in a couple of weeks.

There's a Travelling Man in York too, nice little place it is as well.

the Travelling Man is up on the second floor and also has games stuff. it's better than FB for back issues. FB, by the way, is down near the bus staition.
