Michael A. Crawford argues that a dependancy on foods produced by agriculture, as has especially been the case in the western world in the past many years, does not stimulate the brain as well as foods rich on DHA (stemming mainly from fish). The DHA affects at least 107 genes that are involved with the development of the brain.

One link.

He theorizes on evolution, saying that we evolved by living near rivers with accessible fish meat.

Time to rewrite history?

And please, if you have any valuable information regarding the human brain, don't be afraid to bring our attentions towards it/them.

Sorry about the diffusive (& lack of proper) explanation, when it comes to his theories on evolution; non-existant available time left the broader explanation confined to my head, and not here until now.

In a newspaper interview he recently did in Fyens Stiftstidende, he argues that the human being couldn't have evolved into a walking specimen without the proper nutritional factor -- which in his mind came as a necessary requirement by the rivers, and not in the African savanna. In order to catch fish more effectively, one had to stand up in the river and have an essential overview, which facilitated more fish being caught. This sounds more plausible, perhaps.
