Sorry about the diffusive (& lack of proper) explanation, when it comes to his theories on evolution; non-existant available time left the broader explanation confined to my head, and not here until now.
In a newspaper interview he recently did in Fyens Stiftstidende, he argues that the human being couldn't have evolved into a walking specimen without the proper nutritional factor -- which in his mind came as a necessary requirement by the rivers, and not in the African savanna. In order to catch fish more effectively, one had to stand up in the river and have an essential overview, which facilitated more fish being caught. This sounds more plausible, perhaps. |
