April 3rd, 2004 at the Forum. Or so TicketBastard seems to be telling me. I'm stoked because that gives me enough time to save up for air tickets. Woo! So who's up for it?

Be there with earplugs, or hören mit Schmerzen, baby!

Yeah! So they've already released the dates? An extensive world tour is taking place next year anyway with the release of their new album. Check out http://www.neubauten.org for more info Although it's down right now for reconstruction.

Interesting. I know that the supporters' copies of the new albums (people who paid for them to record get a different copy of the album than the one released in stores - apparently only one track will be the same) shipped last week - which means mine should arrive by fucking March. So it makes sense that there's tour stuff happening. Again, the website's down for redesign, so nobody knows wtf is going on. I'm a bit leery of TicketBaster's listings until there's band confirmation, though. Just saying.

And wembley - apparently there's a relatively big Euro tour planned. I'm certain you'd much rather see them in Berlin, hein? You might even get them where you are...

As for coming over there - you bastards should come over here. I know for a fact that they're planning on coming down here for a gig. Well, that's what they said on the website, so that's what I believe. I thought it was meant to be later this year that they'll be here, though - so maybe we'll get it first? That'd be one for the books, given that I'm still waiting for Pirates of the Caribbean to open...

Of course, I could be tempted. My bank does these new flexible loans...

They will be playing Australia: Blixa's mentioned it several times.

Rothko, if I hear you mention the words "bank loan" again, especially preceded with "my" and in the context of a whimsical sentence involving you doing something expensive, I'm a-gonna kick yo' ass. And you might just like it, too.

But yeah, word on the street is that they might actually go to Australia this time. Although be warned: webby said there would be an Australian tour "if they felt they could generate interest and funds." Mmm-hmm! I'm sure I could hide in one of their instruments and tag along. Achtung: singing high-voltage cables.
If they do helsinki, I'll be there too - but this gives me a good reason to go and see Celeste in Oxford (who will also travel to London to engage in Blixa worship - embarassing but true).

I'm quite stoked about getting the supporters' CD, despite all the griping and grumbling that seems to be surrounding this whole project. Mind you, it's a lot of noise created by a couple of perfect idiots - much like most of the web.

I'm still waiting for those fuckers to make it here.

However, those of you in London will have a chance to see Neubauten play a sideshow. You lucky fuckers.

Buy your tickets here.

24th April, Koko, Camden.

There's also due to be a re-enactment of Concerto for Voice and Machinery at the ICA on the 20th Feb.

I really fancied playing (power tools) in this, although I couldn't make the audition date

I know, I know. Fuckers. And of course, the rumours about ATP having an Australian leg seem to mention starting from the next lineup, not this one.

Gawddemnit.

Einsturz are great, I saw them in Amsterdam once. They played in a place called Paradiso, which was actually a church. At times I feared the whole building would come crashing down, which would have seemed quite fitting. Although their newer material didn't do that much for me, I was still quite blown away by the entire performance. Those who go to Einsturz gigs better pray for the absence of any techncal problems though, they were quite happy to take long minutes out the show just to fiddle around with an airgun that wouldn't work.

24th April, Koko, Camden.

I'm sorely tempted.

But I wouldn't want to show up on my own, what with being 75, and so on. Is anyone else planning on going? And will there be seats?
