I'd be grateful for readers familiar with contemporary Japanese culture that would be willing to review the plot for a graphic novel set in modern-day Osaka. I need to confirm the accuracy and credibility of its setting before I pass it to the artists and I'd greatly appreciate comments and criticism on it.
Well, I personally am unfamiliar. However, a good friend was a teacher there for a year, several years ago, and she still has some friends there, so if you would like me to pass it on, let me know.
Raising the dead is a prerequisite for speaking with ghosts ;-)
Jato no Rei, dr mcstabby and yr own joy, thank you very much for your responses; I'm working to a deadline at the moment but I'll respond to your extremely kind offers soon.
A you are in luck my friend, or really I am in luck if I am to preview your work.
I am a big fan of Japanese women, and so I ended up paying close attention to their culture. I like Japanese culture so much I ended up getting married to a Japanese woman (visiting her country a handful of times) and am now moving to Japan later this week. I dont know if that makes me an expert by any means but if a man understands (or trys to) a woman of another culture he must have insight to afew things.
My wife and I would be happy to look at your graphic novel.
