well, life ain't so bad after all! tho i can't see grassroots tories going for this.
saying that, i remember a union meeting where equal pension rights were being discussed for the teachers' pension scheme. one bloke said that co-habiting couples, straight and gay, were on their agenda but that they would 'concentrate on getting pension rights for the heterosexual couples first' at which point someone else called out 'hear hear'. i wrote the remarks in the report, but strangely enough the were edited out.... |
