Right, tis my birthday on the 18th and I've decided to try and organise a last minute drink up. You're all invited, the more the merrier.
Choice of venue is The Dragon Bar, 5 Leonard Street, Old Street area - will post a map and a link as soon as I figure this complex techy stuff. As it's nice weather and poeple might have other plans I'm going to orgainse it for a bit earlier say about half sevenish.
I won't be able to come as I shall have been brainfried from working in the hottest library in North London, but hopefully will be able to feed you more liquor on the Sunday.
Working, working, and, um, working. But rest assured! If you're around next week I shall travel amazing distances (well, a couple of hundred yards) to by you belated birthday beer.
BiP - if you end up rolling by, I'm sure collectively we can shout you a few pints. No pressure, but if ya can, be good to seeya...LoFlower, I will soothe your fevered brow on Sunday.

Right – I don’t know how to post graphics so someone else might save you. But Leonard Street runs between Gr Eastern Street and City Road. Come out of Old Street Tube – think it’s exit 2, head down Old Street itself etc keep going and Great Eastern Street is on your right – head down here and Leonard Street is right again. Dragon Bar is no. 5. Hope this helps. Anybody less cack handed than me, please free to step up with the directions
I've just recall that the Dragon bar doens't have signage on the outside, bollocks. So - keep your eyes peeled for a non-signage fashionable looking Hoxton bar, and ask yourself what on earth I'm doing inside.
Again, appy polly loggies, but I'll buy you a pint this week.
Hope you all had fun.
HOWEVER, the main reason I'm posting in this thread is to say that mixmage's excuse: Riding shotgun to a busload of Jimmy's HAS to be the best excuse for anything ever. I don't know what it means (in fact, I don't want to) but you just DON't fuck with shit like that!
Thanks peeps, and thanks to all those that made it out. My apologies for not saying goodbye properly but I was erm... "otherwise occupied" outside. I blame my sudden illness on the nachos obviously, a rogue chilli, obviously nothing to do with drinking a small inland sea of lager. It's always the fatal late night late license situations that catch you out. Anyways, I still had a brilliant night, cheers folks - let's do it again soon! (In a slightly more restrained way).
