-Core all over the place, here, lately. It's probably bothering the hell out of some people just on principle. It's starting to bug me a bit, too, but only because it seems kind of pointless. "So," I thought to myself between bouts of otherwise procrastinating today at work, "what possible use could the energy invested in -cores besides the general happiness of Joycore have?". And then another thought came to me - I've been working on a tarot deck with my own symbology set, half to teach myself Photoshop and half to get a handle on my own symbology. Somehow, this ties into -core, in my head. So, for a completely self-serving example:
A card that has been screaming at me lately to work on is the Chariot, and I'm indeed headed out on a rather appropriately symbolic Road Trip in two weeks. Without posting cards from any tarot deck, and preferably without overdoing pictures of vehicles, show me chariotcore? |
