I'm celebrating my 24th Birthday on Friday August the 29th with a huge Tiki party in London. Location to be confirmed. All Barbelites are welcome provided they come dressed as a character from a SHAG painting (Most of you either dress like that already or were the original inspiration). Shag's work can be found here. RSVP via my email or PM. I'd love it if you could all make it. But even more importantly, the awesome stone-effect fibreglass visage of Tiki himself demands it...

Location: South London Pacific, Barely restrained Tiki Bar in Kennington.

Time: 7 pm onwards!

I've reserved a large chunk of the place. It's free until 9, then charges come in at £3 and bump up to £5 at 10, however if you let me know you're coming I'll put you on the guest list and you'll get a discount. So come and enjoy rum cocktails in the vicinity of dozens of giant leering wooden faces, and my medium sized leering flesh one.

If I could procure a fez & tuxedo at short notice I'd be there in full Shriner garb I assure you. As it stands, I'll have to go for a more Jason King approach to matters - which I suppose is a bit off the mark - but in my opinion, Jason King never looks out of place wherever he is.
