New X-men trade vol 5 - "murder at the mansion" missing

I have been following the story in the trades, I have bought books 1 - 4 so far. The thing I noticed in the new previews was that "Murder at the mansion" is not in the new trade - vol 5. Why is this?? I think it is stupid seeing as they have not missed out a story so far.

It only just came out in comic-book format, dumbass!

erm ... if you bothered to follow up what i asked, you will see that vol 5 is advertising as including "weapon plus", which to my knowledge, is halfway through in comic book format, DUMBASS! geez what a prick.

can anyone with more intelligence answer my question.

thank you

I actually wondered the same thing, Lull, because I dumped the monthly in favor of the trades. I suspect that Marvel is just promoting The Weapon Plus storyline since it will attract more Wolverine fans, and I also suspect that Murder in the Mansion will be included in the trade.

Well, Germ Free Generation was published in the Imperial trade paperback, so it seems like Murder At The Mansion will be reprinted in the Assault On Weapon Plus trade paperback. Either that or Riot At Xavier's, I haven't seen that one yet.

Slightly off-topic, but does anyone know if there will be a second hardcover volume?

It's not in the Riot at Xavier's trade which is currently available (i.e. trade number four in the sequence) so will presumably be in the Weapon Plus one.

There WILL be a 2nd New X-Men Hardcover, due in the 2nd week of September, I believe. It will feature the Wolverine cover from #115 on the front, and inside, will include NSM #127-#141, along with about 20 pages of extra material.

As for the current topic, "Murder" IS included in the "Assault" vol.5 TPB. Just check the page count and/or solicitation for other confirmation.

Thank you, the only reason I presumed they were not printing it, was under the creators, it only listed Chris Bacholo as the artist, not Chris Bacholo et al. Anyway what you said seems right, the germ free generation story was in imperial, so maybe it will be like that.

Sweet. I was hoping that they were going to do the whole thing in hardcover - I really love that first one.

Petar, do you know if there are any plans to do a hardcover volume of X-Statix?

You know, as an aside, I think they are crazy for not using the cover of #135 for the second hardcover.

That 115 cover is getting really played out.

Flux-There is an X-statix Hardcover. It was kicking around on Amazon for $20.99, but appears to be out of stock right now.

Oh, good.

They did a really nice job putting together that first X-Force hardcover, I'm sure this will probably top that.

I agree about the over-use of #115's cover, but hopefully between now and October, Marvel might change their mind and give us a group-shot for a cover, as opposed to another Wolverine solo-spot.

Flux and Uatu, there is currently NO X-Statix HC available, through Amazon or elsewhere. Uatu was mistakenly referring to the X-Force HC, covering the precursor team to the current X-Statix. I would, however, assume there WILL be an X-Statix HC - keep your eyes peeled around January/February

D'oh! You're right. In my mind X-force is the "other stuff". Sorry.
