So, since I found myself accidentally in this flick, I'm beginning to get faintly interested in it. Neil Gaiman writing, Dave McKean directing, in what was originally envisaged as a sequel to Labyrinth. It has the potential to be the most awful, inept pile of shit ever created, although the casting of Gina McKee is a definite positive sign. Also, it may reveal whether Neverwhere was only a hideous failure due to budget and casting restrictions, and also whether working on Princess Mononoke has helped Gaiman to learn how to write dialogue.
Apparently this was previewed or trailered or something at ComiCon, along with Batman: Dead Good, no Honest - has anyone heard further report of it? |
