This past Wed, July 23rd, I attended the premier showing of "Maybe Logic", a great documentary on Bob. It was in Santa Cruz which is also where he lives. The theatre is quite large and was totally sold out. RAW was dropped curbside in front of a huge crowd and camera crew, totally star-studded. Then, before the movie, the mayor of SC came out and read a proclamation declaring July 23rd "Robert Anton Wilson Day" (How cool is that?!). RAW came up and received the proclamation to a full-house standing ovation. He was overwhelmed. It was so cool and you could seriously cut the Love with a knife.
Anyway, he's just a great guy and has been a huge influence on my life, so I really want to evangelize his works whenever possible.
