Doom Patrol : Crawling From The Wreckage TPB question

I've found the tpb at a local comic store but I'm worries about buying it. Someone on the board mentioned that there's pages missing. Something to do with "the brotherhood" appearances. Is there any other pages or panels taken out? If so from what issues so I can track them down if I do buy the tpb. Thanks!

Don't mind the missing pages, just buy the damn thing immediately...

Well, ISTR there's rumours that DC will start publishing his Doom Patrol stuff after the last Animal Man trade in Autumn and first up will be a new 'Crawling...' TPB with the missing pages reinstalled. So you may want to hold off on your enthusiasm.

If anyone can let me know which pages are missing, I'll scan them and put them on my website.

i know ppl have talked about this, but does anyone KNOW if future DP reprints will leave out Flex Mentallo?

I've been informed that DC WILL reprint ALL Doom Patrol issues AND Flex Mentallo. One of the Vertigo editors said this at a convention not too long ago. They'll start right after the last Animal Man trade comes out. There's a post on the Mike Allred mesageboard where I write back and forth to the guy that talked to the editor. I'll try and find it and post it hear.

That's Crazy Jane, Sypha. You know her as Ragged Robin.

Oh, please.

Ragged Robin wasn't even one millionth the character that Crazy Jane was. To compare the two is an insult to Kay Challis!

I'm not comparing them, Flux. Grant's on record all over the place going on about how they're basically the same character inhabiting different super-contextual ghettos. You know that.

But, yeah, Jane fucks on Robin.

And that's only one of the skillion reasons you should read Doom Patrol.

I remember when I first discovered it. Was staying in LA with friends and popped down the local offy to nab a few comics. It was the Pentagon storyline and it completely scared me and blew me away. And then I realised that it was written by that bloke what drew Zenith....

Beg, borrow, buy and steal the fucking books. Best thing ever.

Oh, and Dan, thanks for the missing pages! Do you know, I've never read them? Nice.

"drew Zenith"?

I meant, "What wrote Zenith."

Sypha, Grant has said that Crazy Jane was based on Patti Smith and Truddi Chase. so you're partially right.

Zoom.
