Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but figured that music people would know...
Did Talib Kweli and Mos Def's bookstore/multicultural education center in Brooklyn, the Nkiru Center, close? I've heard rumours, and the website hasn't been updated in a while, but I couldn't find anything about it having closed. Mos Def's site still has a link to it, but none of their e-mail addresses seem to be working, and when I tried to call, it rang and rang and then I got a message saying that the mailbox was full.
Anyone hear anything? |
