Hi...nice place you all have here

The reason for my intrusion is that I have recently aquired a set of books that I wish to know more about. The set is from 1905 and is titled "The Great Events by Famous Historians". 20 volumes long and published by the national Alumni, perhaps my greatest find.

Does anybody know anything about this set or where I could find more information about it? It is #165 out of 1000, handbound and signed. Amazing! How do I find the value on something like this?

Try Bookfinder - though it's often harder to find valuations on sets. You could probably find out more about it by checking library catalogues - I'm not sure whether you can access the national library catalogues online where you are, but it's probably worth a try. Sounds interesting anyway - is it a compilation, or one of those 'facts for the young and curious' sets?
