Aging Spells

I know there are spells to keep one's body phyically stunted from age and growing old, but what I'm looking for is the reverse affect. I'm writing a short story about a man obsessed with his age. Any links or information on to how a spell like that cna be broken or a ritual to counter it would be helpful. Not many of my books turn up such a topic.

I've got one spell thats guaranteed to age you 50 years. The only bad thing is it takes 50 years to run its course.

Seriously though, I'd start doing some reasearch on gerontology and other scientific/medical fields that deal with either aging or old people. Then consider animals that have either really long lifespans (tortoise) or really short ones (tse-tse fly) and imagine how they could be incorporated into a spell or even potion. As you said they're probaly isnt much on aging so just flip anti-agin spells around ei. Countess Bathory bathing young persons blood to keep her young could become a spell using the blood from a dying person.
good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Steven Mace mentions going on the astral to bind the spirit of expectation of ageing somewhere in his work. Rather annoyingly, I can't remember where. Fascinating essay though, he recounts undertaking an astral journey, making a request to his HGA and her taking him to a greek style pavillion where he had to speak words of binding over a glowing pillar. As its bound it ceases to glow.

I might be mistaken here, but didn't Crowley try and come up with a formula of rejuvenation in his old age? Perhaps this is a favourite pastime of knackered old magicians?
