Steven Mace mentions going on the astral to bind the spirit of expectation of ageing somewhere in his work. Rather annoyingly, I can't remember where. Fascinating essay though, he recounts undertaking an astral journey, making a request to his HGA and her taking him to a greek style pavillion where he had to speak words of binding over a glowing pillar. As its bound it ceases to glow.
I might be mistaken here, but didn't Crowley try and come up with a formula of rejuvenation in his old age? Perhaps this is a favourite pastime of knackered old magicians? |
