I've posted a few PMs to peeps, and not had answers. It may be that they're just not answering, but that would seem more discourteous than I would like to suggest.

So are they getting through? Or not?

It may be something to do with the Barbelith server in some cases, I think. I replied to a PM from you, Kooky, a while back, but when I hit reply I got an error message from IE. I assumed that this was like the error messages I often get (when you then try and post your message again, you end up with a double of triple post - most annoying) so I ignored it - but perhaps it never went through?

grant says he can't send PMs to me, and other people claim they aren't sure if PMs are getting through. Maybe some people can't PM certain other members: perhaps there is a technical problem here somewhere?

As far as I know there isn't an upper limit on the amount of private messages you can be storing, although I'd point out that the more you have, the larger and slower to download (for you) the list-view of your messages will be.
