Hiyis. Basically I don't know if any of you can help but I thought i'd try anyay. I am just after finishing a city and guilds course in Sound engineering and music production. This is the first time I've studied in 5 years. Before this I have studied computer science, then computer game design and then I worked in a variety of computer and graphics jobs. Anyway, I finally want to get a job which might give me just a little bit of personal satisfaction.

What I'm looking for is any websites or contact info regarding companies which may give me or find me a job working with digital audio in the UK or europe? If anyone has any info regarding the computer games industry specifically it would also be much appreciated.

A mate of mine, who works as a games designer, swears by the ads in Edge magazine as being the only place worth looking for any kind of job in the industry.

In my experience, good jobs always eem to come through nepotism/contacts - I'm sure you're already aware of this but if anyone else on here has a mate who works in the industry, that might be a good starting point. Don't know if there's any chatboards for this kinda thing?
