See Jenny Everywhere face the firing squad, surmise the identity of her mother, enjoy the first image of jenny wearing her goggles, guess Jenny's nationality, find out where she got her scarf and goggles from in the first place...

All this and more (though not too much more since its only a single page strip) in the latest Jenny Everywhere adventure- The Late Shift, brought to you by the talents of Nelson Evergreen and my humble self.

The Late Shift... more Jenny Everywheres than you have seen before.

Let us know what you think.

I think the beauty of the short is that it's packed full of information but it doesn't seem forced. It reads nicely. Also I love Nelson's cartoony style.

I liked that, it was sort of like 'Combat Colin'.

Jenny with blonde (or red) hair in leopardskin outfit -- sexy! Once again, really great work.

Where do you get Madeline Pryor from that?

And what's "Combat Colin", pray tell?

Hey, I just noticed that in the last frame all the other Jenny's are standing in line. Was that in the script (if so is there a particular reason?) or did nelson just add that to be cute? God, I feel like such a beard!

Jenny Everywhere- spawn of Snoopy? Some perverse part of me likes that a lot.

Because Madelyne Pryor was a pilot, but I was only kidding.

Ah I was a little confused by the Maddy Pryor thing too- Perseph you undoubtedly win.

Combat Colin was a back up strip in the UK Transformers comic check out this website for more information.

Unfortunately Col. was less of an influence than the old IPC/Fleetway comics of the late 70s and early 80s like Whoopee...

And yes the other Jenny's in the queue was in the script- as is the suggestion that Jenny works in the same store that late night queuing was set in, but thankfully that wasn't on her shift, so to speak. I just liked the idea of Jenny meeting herself in a Dr Who fashion...

Tigerskin Jenny's hair is red, by the way. Bloody hard to get across in black and white though.

Finally read THE LATE SHIFT. A nice primer there with the usual artistic aplomb from Nelson. I particularly liked the nod to Jenny's mother. My only critique is that it is so short and swift that if left me wanting more. I enjoy the sassy version of Jenny and thought the creators did a fine job. Fun.
