Since this has come up serendipitously, I thought I'd post here as well. Circumstances with my flatmate have changed and I need to find a room in London. I need to move by September 15th so time is ticking, ticking!
Me: 33 yo Australian guy. Easy going, while still having a pulse. Working in the City, but playing as far away from the City as possible. I'm into standard geek fare: comics (I write comics part-time), video games (I have a PS3), anime, weird films, etc, but I'm not obssesive and on flip side I DJ and like clubbing, gigs (electronic music mostly, from trance to glitchy experimental sounds) and generally going out. I can watch a game of football, but I don't need to, and I'm learning to snowboard, albeit slowly. I'm an excellent cook (seriously) and pretty clean, but would be more than willing to part pay for a cleaner. I travel a lot for pleasure and work so there would be long stretches where I wouldn't be home - if you wanted to have some weird event you didn't want me to know about.
What I'm looking for: Camden, Kentish TOwn, Tuffnel Park, Upper Holloway. Nice sized double room - double bed and a desk so I can write, maybe some extra space as I have shelves and a drawer unit thing. Gas hob for cooking (pretty important, but if everything else is rad would overlook). I'd like a place with a living room and a social house, but not necessarily best friends. Open minded housemates as my friends are goths/freaks who would ocassionally come over and make the place very colourful. A tolerant attitude to infrequent instances of loud music and extatic behaviour would be a big, big plus. My budget is up to around £170 per week including bills.
This is a lot of info, yes, but I thought it best to get it all out there and see if a magick room in a heavenly flat suddenly appeared.
PM me for more info - or to tell me you have my dream room all ready and waiting. |
