Can you still order Grant Morrison's "Lovely Biscuits" from the publisher?

I thought this was out of print, but the publisher's web page still has it on it's list of books to order.

Maybe I should just e-mail them and ask.

If you do, could you post a reply with the info?
I've been trying to find it for ages.

What is this work, exactly? It's the one thing of Grant M's that I have no idea what it's about. Is it a prose book, a play, or a comic??

It's a prose book reprinting short stories, plays, etc. Used to have the anthologies his short stories were in, and they're f***in warped from what I remember. Always wanted to read his plays, but never got the chance. So yes, PLEASE post info on this, Sypha!

Morrison's website says it is supposed to be re-published soon, but then again, Popmagic 3's been coming soon forever, so I'll take that with a grain of salt.

I did e-mail the publisher today though, I'll see if he gets back to me.

To my knowledge I think it has 2 plays (Red King Rising and Depravity)and 4 short stories, it's 190 pages total. One story, "The Braille Encyclopedia", can be read on-line, just google for it and you should find it. I haven't read much of Morrison's prose work but I'm very interested, especially in his plays.

Here's the publisher's foul website. Last time this question came up I emailed them to check if they were still in business. It took them a few months to reply, but the answer was "yes." That's a fair while back though, so I wouldn't hold out too much hope.

Unless you can pick it up cheap or second-hand somewhere, you'd be much better off saving your cash. Many people here have dissed it many times in the past, but it looks like those threads are long gone. For my part, I think it comes across as a young writer struggling to find a voice and instead plumping for shock tactics.

If you want to try and track the contents down online, they are:
The Braille Encyclopedia
The Room Where Love Lives
Red King Rising
Lovecraft In Heaven
Depravity
I'm A Policeman

The Braille Encyclopedia is the worst of a fairly bad bunch.

I thought the Braille Encyclopedia was okay, though not the best thing I ever read. It seems different from the prose excerpts Morrison has on his website, which seem to me very William S. Burroughs like now.

I e-mailed the publisher but apparently the e-mail address doesn't exist anymore, so I think I'll just wait for the reprint in this case.
