how about a gas mask camp where visitors can help decorate gas masks for future sale or loan???

You bet, dude!

Odd thing about this concept is I actually HAVE a decorated gas mask -- I got an Israeli surplus one from a friend of mine when I was in high school. The filters probably aren't good any more, but it still looks kind of scary. I painted a couple subtle designs around the eyes.
