Is that Jean or a perhaps a Jean look-a-like that might be the "stripper" character in the Black Queen costume?

Here's the proper link to the article.

I'm sure that one of the moderators would be happy to add a topic abstract.

Anyway, I really like that Scott's hanging out at the Hellfire Club. I'm very pleased with how that has been intergrated into the story, and I'm thrilled that Grant will be writing Sebastian Shaw. That's Sabretooth having a conversation with Scott, and my best guess is that the red haired Black Queen is the stripper in question, made to look like Jean to appeal to Scott and/or Sebastian. I think having Scott drinking heavily and watching a stripped dressed up like Jean makes a hell of a lot of sense, especially since when he first lost Jean he ran off with a woman who looked identical to her, and when he had his affair with Emma, he had her 'dress up' as Jean.

Now that's PROPER Bachalo art! None of his over stylized Ultimate war migrane simulation. Looking forward to this.

Wow. No crazy bachalo panels with frogs and birds in the negative space! Just cinema-type scenes. And I cannot believe Grant is writing the Hellfire Club. My final wish has come true.

Looks and sounds TERRIFIC. Scott a lost, depressed drunk seeking solace in a Jean Grey-esque stripper at the Hellfire Club? More Weapon Roman Numberal madness? More Fantomex? Bachalo doing good art again??? I'm so THERE!!!!

The art does look cracking.

looks good, though I still think Bachallo 'lost' a bit when he started to channel the 'rubber' McFarlane style. I'm being too unfair, probably.

and who would have thought? the HellFire Club folks still dress like New Romantics.

Ah, seem to have guessed correctly about Cap being the uncontollable Weapon Zero.

Bachalo looks to be back in fine form. I always especially liked his work on Generation X and with Seagle on UXM.

Yeah, Bachalo's male faces still look pretty distorted.

What do you mean about Capt. America being Weapon Zero?

I think that sort of thing was covered in the Truth miniseries.

By the way, was anyone hooked by Paul Pope's Doop insisting that we buy the aforementioned? I quite fancied it, but was a few pennies short.

Back in the 80s, it was implied that the program that gave Logan the adamantium was an offshoot of the old Super Soldier program from WWII. Cap proved impossible to control, and they've been trying to improve the program, ever since.

During the Fantomex issues, Fantomex refers to the Weapon Plus program dating back to WWII, and the classified "Weapon Zero". Keeping what was implied from the 80s, Weapon Zero would be Cap. Bachalo seems to have confirmed it.

Believe fantomex sez more like: 'weapon 0 was classified. weapon 1 was a volunteer.' 0=the one from the Truth. 1=Rogers.

Cool.

Where did Paul Pope's Doop say "Buy THE TRUTH mini"?? In the letters page of the issue he drew of X-STATIX>?
