Ok.. i have been absolutely commanded (damn you, Lurid) to confess my absolute love for her.

That haircut i find so subtle and elegant, and its colour sparkles so radiantly in the light. She waddles like the beautiful duck i have always longed to be, and i find her polotics nothing but a demonstration of how pure and wonderful the world could be.

If i continue, this will hurt.

She is oddly fascinating...I have always had this fantasy (did I really just use that word) to see her singing "It's Raining Men", while grinding up against William Hague.

Absolute command? Moi? You must have me confused with some object of your desire, like Anne Widdecombe.

And who can blame you? She is a rather *stern* woman, who brooks little dissent...

Doesn't it make you want to schnoogle her, gingerbop?

Ugh. This is probably the most perverted topic ever. I move that it's deleted, not just from the Conversation but from the deleted items, and then each individual byte be taken out and burned, then the ashes scattered fired in to the sun. Then the sun imploded so it turns in to a black hole. Sure, some people called me crazy, but they're all labour MPs now, so what do they know? Mwahahaha!

I always thought it was a shame that the proposed Barbelith Jake Day, with Widdecombe as the Jakee, never came to pass. After we went to all that trouble and got her address(es), too.

This is so wrong. Please stop it.

What's a Jake day?

Someone told me, I never found out if it was true, that Anne Widdcombeused to do a lot of work for beggars/the homeless, to the extent of wandering around and waking up street homeless peeps ndencoraging them to get sorted out - can anyone confirm wheteher any of this or not this is true or not?

Even f this is complete bollocks, god bless here for saying there's "something of the night" about Michael Howard.

And I would like to point out that I was so there first. So there in fact that I found her website. Ha. Here's a picture of the lovely lady...

Good lord, what a colour (the hair and the Tory dress/jacket combo). She's clashing with Basil, mind. And I have just read something in which she slags off Jacqueline Wilson for writing books which feature single mothers who have children by two separate men.

Why is she having a dolls' tea party with Basil Brush, anyway?

Yes, it's quite absurd isn't it?! Trying to get across her love for the children obviously... not that she'll ever have any of her own and isn't that a blessing to the human race. (Ann, if you're reading this I'd like to apologise, specifically because you're such a perfectly kitsch fetish figure but also because people just can't get your name right!)

Jake Day - you organise a group of people to gather useless, meaningless crap and each post your own collection to a public figure who's recently blathered some stupid blatherings. No covering letter, no explanation. The idea being to fill their letterbox with a pile of nonsensical mail on one day. Jake Day.

Poor old Basil looks like he's pooped himself.

more Ann Widdecombe (note correct spelling of her name please) more and more and more and more.

And I'm spent.

Randy - I think the Jake day idea is brilliant. Why did it not happen. Why can't we still do it? I'm sure gingerbop would love to send things to her love!

How did she "waken" the homeless people? In a 'Sunday morning' sort of way?

If we're talking pervy sex scenes with repugnant politicians, I want a fantasy SM scenario with the lovely Mr Blunkett; I'm sure I could factor in the blindness somehow, as a Special Feature...

gingerbop: If you take orders from me, you aren't a very good indicator of scaredy factor. That said, that Ganesh dude is one fucked up guy.
