Blogger technical question

Is there a way of setting blogger's ftp to PASV (passive transfer)? I'm currently setting up a new blog on an NT-hosted page with considerable security - so either I have to upgrade to UNIX (would that help?) or blogger pro/moveable type (would that help?) ...

Grr.

I'm blogging in the dark right now - it's more than likely no one will ever see post No. 1 - it'll go straight to the archives.

Not sure about blogger and passive ftp, but your security problems won't matter if you use MT - it doesn't ftp anything anywhere, just sits there on your site and updates itself.

However, you'd need perl on the site. Not usually a problem with most sites, which use Apache (Unix), but on an NT server, I dunno.

Hm... MT does have instructions for installing on an NT host, so presumably, that would work.

Perchance I shall have to get off my goddessrodent ass and learn the art of MT.

MT's pretty easy if you know the Blogger template system - there are just far, far more tags, options and things you can do with it. You can import Blogger posts as well, which seems fairly simple.
