on august 20th, its one month since carlo giuliani was killed in genua.all around the world on that day, demonstrations, actions and happenings will take place (check your local info-sites about the whereabouts).
in memory of carlo, but also aware of all the people in italy (60 or more) expecting charges under the law of belonging to a criminal organisation (a law attended to the mafia, meaning five years in prison or more if convictided). aware of the hundreds being tortured in italy, beaten up in police-custody, being sexually harrased and tortured. aware of those 10 up to 40 people, who are still missing and haven't returned home, who haven't called their friends or have been seen anywhere.
what has happened to them in genua could have happened to anyone who was there.
so, A20 is a day to show a response and international solidarity. we are not only in genua, quebec or washington. we are everywhere.
A20 is a day to remember those, who are not there. But it's also day to talk with the all the people around you. And do something together.
so do whatever you can do: organise, talk, play, paint, sing, walk, party...
