This is an appeal for those UK Barbeloids who are looking for a home in London.

My 2 housemates are moving out on March 26th. This makes 2 rooms available in my WC1 maisonette flat: a huge one for £530pcm and a smaller one for £385 pcm.

Interested? Email me or post here. I am tired so further details will be supplied as and when.

Come on you fuckers! I know most of you live in cardboard boxes under Westminster Bridge, crawling out only to post in the nearest EasyEverything, but there must be somebody who wants to move to sunny KX?

Hmmm... My circumstances are thus: I have just agreed with my landlady to extend my lease (due for renewal on April 14th) for a couple of months while I decide what to do with myself... However my flatmate is moving out at the start of April, so I'm looking for a flatmate for a couple of months.

However, I am vaguely interested by the option of doing this instead, if you think you could put up with my pinko right-on ways, WP. How long is the lease for, or rather how long would I have to sign up for?

(Incidentally, if I keep my lovely third-floor flat in Whitechapel, just inside the zone 2 border, almost in zone 1, two minutes from the tube and very close to fashionable Shoreditch, and anyone fancies taking either the double room for £550 a month or the single for £450, from April until mid-June with the option of extending it for longer after that, e-mail me or post here. I realise this is sort of hi-jacking Whisky's thread, but since I'm also the only person to express interest in living with her, I figure that's okay...)

Ms Priestess - am very interested indeed - but would be unable to move in until the end of April, and would not be able to pay two sets of rent for that month. Or at least probably wouldn't be able to....

We must talk about this further... I may well be homeless as of the end of next month... Any suggestions would be very much appreciated...

BTW - any chance you could do a streetmap.co.uk thing and give us a rough idea of the area in which you are speaking of?

Wow, is that really how much a room in London costs. Even in the centre of Edinburgh I was paying 200 max.

Yup - that's not that far off normal to be honest... My current place is around £450 a month. And it's nice, but not that great... My place in Bristol was nicer and that cost £150 a month...

Sorry all - have been working obscene hours in fashion PR this week with no access to the internet (can you friggin' believe it?)

Um - will try and sort a streetmap thing. It's on KIng's Cross Road, 5 mins from Thameslink towards Farringdon. Above a cake shop.

Tom and Fly - give me a call. My number is 07808 939 535. No pervs please. I'd much prefer to have either of you than some random stranger from Loot. And then when Nick comes round we can all have a love-in. Or a punch-up. If you guys want to have a look at the place I'm free and in every night next week except Thursday.

Tom - I'll check the lease and if I don't have to pay the extra rent myself, end of April is fine.

Fly - if I can live with a software designer I can live with a boy feminist. For a start you're more likely to do the washing up occasionally so as not to oppress me, and that can't be bad. You don't have to sign up for any specific amount of time, as far as I can tell, just as long as there's someone to take your place when you leave.

I await your calls with anticipatory moistness.

Fly and I should probably see if we can come around at the same time, so that we can check that we don't hate each other or some shit.

So I am about to move out of the £385 room of this flat after three years. I am definitely going to miss the amazingly convenient location which for anyone who loves North, East or Central London is a bit of a godsend. If you need a place to live or know anyone who does - and if you are not a slavering nutjob - then PM me for more information...

*sob*

My life is OVER!

(And you've got loads of post Fly & Nina some of which is in wobbly grandmother handwriting and thus might possibly be money.)

Or did I just say that to WIN YOU BACK?????!!!

Even I don't know any more.
